I do clean room reverse engineering. I have developed several utilities and tools. One of the most known is Hack-Magento. I have more but I can't share due to the NDA's I have signed. The rest are closed source enterprise applications.

Software Engineer

I'm more or less an amateur reverse engineer, and have rarely had to apply it in a professional setting (despite being in the security industry). My work ranges from deconstructing and patching desktop and mobile games to algorithms. A brief list of my personal favorites are as follows: 1. I reverse engineered the Pokemon Go network protocol which became a cornerstone of the early third-party scene. 2. I reverse engineered the fast inverse sqrt method and found a way to generalize it to arbitrary powers. 3. I reverse engineered a game I played when I was a kid and found an exploit that allowed me to patch a bug that causes the game-server to freeze when it tries to process malformed packets. This helped to eliminate a widespread DoS attack on the game.
