Remote working evangelist, MSc. Software Architect & Lead Backend Developer

Since 2012 all projects I did were remote to at least some degree. The project Wizando, where a team of 5 worked closely together in 3 different time zones has proven that my abilities to organize remote technical work are successful. A great challenge was to remotely manage, inspire, lead and grow a backend team from 5 to 20 developers during my 3 year tenure with LifeWorks: it is always the hardest setup when you (and some colleagues) are remote while most of the team is office-based. This experience has taught me how to support a successful transition from a fully office-based team towards allowing for more and more home-office.
