Dec 8 to 14 is Computer Science Education Week!  Hour of Code is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer programming.

During Dec 8 - 14, Codementor is hosting a series of online Office Hours sessions for Hour of Code with our mentors.

On Friday Dec 12 at 10am PST / 1pm EST, Steve Klabnik is hosting an office hours session for Hour of Code.  This is a small-group online discussion.  Space is limited - so please RSVP now!  

Teachers - If you'd like to host an Hour of Code event but would like to be better prepared, come join this session! Our volunteering mentor can help you to be better prepared for the Hour of Code tutorials, free of cost.

Students - If you'd like to learn how to code but don't know where to start, learn more about the Hour of Code with our mentors.  

Steve Klabnik is a prolific programmer in the open source community.  With 273 repositories on GitHub, Steve Klabnik is known for his contribution to open source projects, where he is in 15 organizations. He is currently ranked #32 on the all-time Rails Contributors list, and has written the guide Rust for Rubyists. Steve has recently joined Mozilla to work on the official Rust Documentation.
