Senior Android Developer
I've 7 years of programming experience with Android and a good overall understanding of other programming languages and technologies. I've a curious mind and I'm an avid learner, qualities which I believe led me to work on various technical challenges since a young age. Since then I've worked on all sorts of cool things ranging from phone's firmware, games, printing software and a myriad of different purpose applications mostly on the mobile landscape. Besides my dedication to my professional life, I also have a strong sense of social duty and personal growth. I enjoy traveling, philosophy, psychology and music just to name a few. I've worked for clients such as Pepsi-Co, book magazines, radio stations, travel agencies, the golf industry amongst others. I've also collaborated and contributed to several open-source initiatives throughout the years.

Developer with a passion for testable, performant, and clean code
First of all, I go by KZ so you don't have to hurt your tongue trying to pronounce my name :) I mostly work on the JVM in Java and Android (and recently Kotlin which is by far my favorite!!!) I have a strong theoretical background as well as almost a decade of practical experience. I love learning as much about a topic as I can so I consider myself an expert in the areas I invest my time into (JVM memory model, concurrency, object layouts, etc.). I practice Test Driven Development wherever practical and am a disciplined debugger (I once spent a better part of the day tracking down what turned out to be an equals/hashCode mismatch in legacy code). I'm also extremely passionate about language design and attempt to evangelize new constructs to whomever will listen :) I look forward to working with you.
Test-driven Android Java Developer
Hi, I'm Alan, I've been a professional software developer since 2001. I'm a British expat living in Canada. I have extensive experience in Java and Android. I work producing Android apps for some top household names and have done so since 2014. In addition to that I have some successful personal apps with over 2.5 million downloads. I have a degree in computer science and enjoy coding puzzles and contests, like Google codejam and Kattis. I have over 33K reputation on Stack Overflow because I love helping other developers with their problems. Oh and I enjoy a good nights sleep, so I practice Test Driven Development!

As a marketplace and 500 Startups company ourselves, we were happy to give CodementorX’s platform a go when we needed developers with specialized skillsets. They did not disappoint and allowed us to find qualified devs painlessly.
