I have 10+ years experience as a Front-end Engineer. I help run Hill Country JS, a Front-end meetup in San Antonio. In my free-time, I help maintain frontendtesting.com, visualregressiontesting.com, and answer Stack Overflow questions and participate in several front-end related coding chat rooms. I've presented multiple times on Front-end topics at various conferences, including CSSDevConf, SassConf and HTML5.tx. In my free-time, when I'm not playing with my kids, I dabble in tabletop gaming, piano and gardening.

I first tried out HTML in middle school in the late 1990's, editing my email signature to look hella awesome. Through high school I took advantage of resources like HTML Goodies, which at the time was really great. Since then, I've learned the benefits of semantic markup, the usefulness of clean, concise HTML, and have adapted in best practices and new functionality when apt.

My experience with CSS began in college, as I learned the benefits of it over endless font tags. I grew to love stylesheets, and was soon converted from table-based to css based layouts. I've fought many an IE layout bug and am glad to see the days of IE6 & 7 gone for good. I'm excited for the future of CSS, including grid-based layouts and an end to vertical centering madness (thank you flexbox!)

Could've been better
Kevin was obviously an expert at using WebDriverIO. He was able to immediately understand my problem and build a solution right in front of my eyes. Would 100% recommend and plan on using again myself.
