I am currently a software developer and polyglot with a strong background in C#, and Ruby on Rails development. At work, I develop and maintain software on the web using a combination of programming languages and development tools. I have a wealth of experience working with SAAS applications and hybrid mobile development, though I have also maintained large, enterprise code-bases.

I have been employed as a professional Ruby on Rails developer since my 8th-grade year of middle school. During this time, I've worked on a myriad of different Rails applications ranging from SaaS applications, Learning Management Systems, and open source contributions. Most of my expertise lies in the backend data model and controller portions of the stack, but I have plenty of experience with frontend Rails development and configuration as well. I've also owned (in some capacity) 2 or 3 businesses built on top of Ruby on Rails.

Elixir has been one of my favorite languages for a while, and as such, I've built several hobby projects and demo applications in the language. At one point I built an open source package in Elixir, though I don't really maintain it anymore. Nevertheless, I still have a good amount of experience working in the language, and have even given a presentation about it at a tech conference.

Java was the first programming language that I learned, and as such, I have a very solid understanding of its syntax and core concepts. Throughout university, I've implemented several data structures and algorithms in Java, and at one job I maintained an enterprise Java desktop application with around a million lines of code.
