I'm a Software Engineer who loves getting into the nitty gritty technical details and solving problems. In my professional life I develop Windows or Web software with a strong focus on .Net (Winforms and ASP.Net/MVC3). In my private life I tinker with electronics such as Arduino's, RaspberryPi, STM32 Nucleo, as well as use Linux, NetBeans, and various other open source packages for fun. I also have a passion for computer languages, human languages, computer parsers, and human writing systems.

I worked with C++ professionally, on a nearly daily basis, from 1995 to 2008. I've continued to use it on the the job occasionally and recreationally since. (i.e. arduino and other microcontrollers, such as the mbed platform) The bulk of my experience lies with Windows Desktop/RDP Server app programming, including the use of COM, ActiveX and GDI level programming.

I've been working with .Net since .Net 1.1. Primarily I've worked made desktop applications, and integrated with not-.Net host applications. In more recent years I've done full stack and web based and service oriented development. I've focused on the C# language, buy also have had significant concurrent experience using VB.Net.

I've been using SQL Server or a Sybase predecessor, since 1995, in enterprise environments. I've been tasked to do a wide range of activities, including performance analyses, data warehouse/mart applications, and the rote CRUD operations that support most any enterprise application/suite.
- 23 years experience
For my entire career I've been using source control systems of various incarnations. While not an end authority on any one product, I've played a role in shaping it's structure and usage patterns within most of the teams I've been on.
A parser builder library with an EBNF-like syntax parser to, you guessed it, build a parser in memory, complete with a winforms test app. Trying to track down sample EBNF files.
Could've been better
