Top Senior Github flow Developers - Dec 2017

I can help you with .NET, Android, Web, iOS, C and Azure.

I work has a solution architect, and have been training in one form or the other for the last 5 years. I am good at teaching those who are completely new to a particular topic. For instance, lets say you have been a web forms (dot net) developer all this while. However, you have been advised that you will be working on dot net MVC from the next project. In situations like that, where you are learning something entirely new but still wish to harness what you already know, I am the guy for you. Another instance would be, you are really now starting your journey into the wonderful but terrifying world of development (it could be android, web, iOS or Azure) and you want someone to ease you into this. Well, I am that trainer. I am patient, i can be wonderfully funny, use all sorts of dramatic examples and generally keep things excited. If we can think of it, we can build it

I'm a web developer focused on the front of the stack. Specializing in design and the front-end of large mobile and web applications, I am known to be cross-functional by nature. I am a lover of startups and dabbler in backend technologies. My career is built on experiences at Eveo, Apartmentlist, and Hired as well as collaborations with Nike, Microsoft, McCormick and Verizon.

20 Software Industry Veteran

I have over 19 years experience as a developer across a wide array of industries. I enjoy sharing knowledge and helping fellow developers grow.

100% remote iOS Software Engineer, ex-googler ex-appler.

I first fell into iOS in high school when the App Store was literally just starting. I've built several Objective-C applications and several Swift ones since the 2014 launch of the language. I have tinkered with Android mainly in 2013 while I was an intern at Google on the Android Camera Frameworks team, and have spent considerable time working on mobile back ends as well. At 13, my science fair project won an honorable mention: it was a basic AI that played Tic-tac-toe in javascript. It was pretty comical, as I had manually written out all the “traps”, and some pesky 6th grader found one I had not thought of! At 15 I built my first PC, and recently I built my own Hackintosh. I have also experimented with the Raspberry Pi. Most importantly though I'm a hard core Apple fan boy and have all the possible Apple toys. In general, I appreciate highly polished and well thought out products and design. On top of Apple, I am very curious about cryptocurrencies and following that space closely. I’ve even thoroughly researched if bitcoin mining would be cost efficient to reduce my heating bill. It was not, but now I'm curious about ether forging 🙃. Through my experiences within several high quality teams building great software in Silicon Valley, and just growing up in California after moving there at age six from France, I now apply all those learnings in both my day job and my late night writings. I do lots of stuff, but always trying to pay it forward whenever I can 🖖.

Python expert for Data Applications & Web Dev

I'm a Python and Java/Scala developer, with main focus on Big Data solutions and some full stack web dev experience. I will happily look at your code or system and point out bugs or suggest a better way to do something. Have experience with most popular Python libraries including pandas, matplotlib and numpy. If you want a great code review/refactoring of your Python code, from which you are going to learn and improve as a developer, I am the person to go to. If you have a data transformation that is taking ages, ask me for my help. I have been able to achieve speedups of up to 500x for people here, by using libraries such as pandas in an optimized way and being aware of memory usage patterns. I also am particularly well versed in geospatial data management and the open source project QGIS. I'm a big fan of clean, testable and tested code with a wow factor. I'm also striving for automating everything with the correct tools. I have also worked at Google. I love consulting people via codementor. So far I have walked people through building web apps in Python, solved tough bugs in complex systems and shared my expertise in designing data pipelines. I also have, among other things, helped parallelize code that analyzes DNA sequences, configured git servers and showed people how to get started with unit tests.
