The client needs to create an interactive dashboard for clients, so they're in need of a D3.js expert with a good eye for design and WordPress experience (recently moved from PHP to WordPress).
A medical-tech company is looking to build a web-based industry landscapes using interactive data visualization. The initial scope is to develop a tool to build and browse infographics like these:
They are planning to use react, redux, and D3 in the front-end because that’s what their team is interested in exploring/learning, plus that stack is a good fit with the needs of the application.
This project is just for the front-end. They already have the basics of the back-end in place (it’s a simple JSON Ruby on Rails Api). Implementing changes to the back-end is not in the scope of this project, their team members can handle that. They’re short on front-end though.
The first step is to present a list of markets (their API mocks some markets for development purposes). The next step is to develop the initial visualizations/layouts:
Then they’ll move on to additional layouts (table, list, etc), and then start improving styling and refining the experience of a user browsing through these visualizations. Once that’s live, they’ll start working on the features to add markets, make edits, add/remove companies, etc.
