The client needs help fixing an existing site used to make API calls. This site was written with .Net and jQuery. It is hosted on a dedicated Windows server using IIS. You will have remote access to this server and a test site, so all the tools are in place. They also have another backup site hosted with Azure, so if you have experience there, that would be helpful.
Additional information such as the API Guide will be provided. Interested in a point-of-contact for help with any future issues or with any changes needed.
This site is currently hosted on multiple sites for redundancy. One on Windows Azure and another on a dedicated server with GoDaddy. This project will be over 20+ hours and probably an ongoing project. The estimated commitment is 4-8 hours weekly on an as-needed basis.
The client is a solution architect for a small Microsoft consultant firm. He wants to build a proof-of-concept solution for one of his clients.
In this own words:
"React frontend, Node for middleware API to coordinate calls to backend REST API's, of which are secured by OAuth/AzureAD. We probably won't go full backend integration for the PoC... the focus will be more on the frontend/react dev. I have UI clickthrough ready."
The PoC period will be around 20 hours. After the client gets a sense of velocity and continue the project, it will likely be 20hr/week for 2-3 months
