Top Senior Expressionengine Developers - Dec 2017

Independent Internet Professional

I'm a solutions-oriented full-stack web developer with several years experience in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/XML/XSLT, CSS, Linux/Windows, Bash and many frameworks/plugins/products thereof including: Laravel, CodeIgnitor, Zend, Ratchet, Composer, MySQL, MSSQL, jQuery, YUI, Bootstrap, Angular, Grunt, Sass, Compass, AWS, Apache, Nginx, IIS, Magento, Expression Engine, WordPress, Movable Type, and Cascade Server to name a few. Whether I'm hired to work as part of a multi-dev team, team lead, or the sole developer on a project I make a deliberate effort to adapt, relate, and interact with my peers on their level so we're all on the same page and as cohesive as possible; and as John "Hannibal" Smith says "I love it when a plan comes together". Every teacher can learn from their students and every peer can learn from their peers. My mentors, my peers say I'm never too proud to ask questions and am always committed to the goal at hand, I'm glad my efforts are noticed and I hope their recommendations speak for themselves. If there's any tool, utility, or app the team uses, I'll stop at nothing to pick it up and get up to speed with the rest of the team and help those that ask for it in any way I can. I travel full-time and have enjoyed working remotely with every team I've participated with since 2014. I always let folks know when I'll be available, when I expect to complete my current task, and when I'll follow up instead of waiting for them to ask. In my spare time, I stay busy sight-seeing, hiking, writing, and tinkering with electrical, plumbing, propane, mechanical, and other upgrades on my 27' class A motorhome.

My name is Aaron Gustafson and I work on the web.

I am the founder and technical lead of Easy Designs, a web development consultancy focused on helping businesses elegantly tackle the challenges of presented by all these crazy screens you see everywhere. Full Stack Developer / Growth Marketer

I was born and raised in Germany but today my home is anywhere between Europe, the Middle-East and Southeast-Asia. New experiences and culture draw me to travel to, and to live in different countries all around the world - With stronger foreign ties come a different, new perspective on all aspects of life and business which I continue to embrace.

Zend Certified PHP Developer

I am an advanced PHP Developer who holds Zend Certification for PHP 5.3, with over 10 years web development experience. I have experience developing both small and large web based applications. My experience encompasses both front-end and back-end, developing responsive websites with a framework powered back-end.

Problem-Solver, Solutions Architect, CMS Expert, SQL Data Monkey

I wear a lot of hats -- (X)HTML/CSS/JS engineer, ExpressionEngine and CraftCMS expert, SQL consultant, technology evangelist, and geek-of-all-trades. I've been in love with computers since the '80s, when I taught myself BASIC on my Commodore 64. HTML, CSS, Javascript, and several other technologies quickly followed. These days I'm focused mainly on ExpressionEngine as a platform, and on SQL (mainly MySQL) as a data layer. I have 10+ years of experience working with both, and I'm very keen to help folks build great, optimized stuff with an awesome user experience. I've done a lot of different types of web work over the course of my career and delight in solving complicated interlocking problems for my clients. I have a broad range of expertise and if you come to me with an idea or an issue I'm good at figuring out what's needed to solve your problem or realize your vision. And I make sure to provide lots of detail and documentation when I’m hired to consult -- my clients love that about me. I graduated from Rhodes College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology/sociology and a minor in computer science. After graduation I started my own side business, and I've built over 50 ExpressionEngine sites for my clients. (That's in addition to my full-time work in the industry, for companies like The Nerdery.) I'm also an active member of the EE developer community and the Twin Cities EE user group, and was recently invited to be a guest expert on an episode of the EE Podcast. **Please note** I am open to connecting with folks I don't know personally, but please mention why you'd like to connect in your invitation.
