AB Experimentation in Layman's Terms - Part 2

About the talk

In part 1, we have covered the very basics of AB testing and left untouched many significant parts. In this second part, I will cover size calibration of an experiment and work with empirical data to compute better accuracy which will include AA tests and bootstrap. I will continue focusing on simplicity and visual examples. To better prepare for this event, please take some time to listen to the first event here: https://www.codementor.io/events/ab-experimentation-in-layman-s-terms-gnu2sr7bdh

This talk will cover

  • Recap and extend experiment setup example
  • How to compute size of an experiment, which includes power, type 1 and type 2 errors
  • How to use empirical data collected through multiple experiments, which includes A/A tests and bootstrap method
