Polyglot developer with an obsession for modularity
I'm a self taught developer, and ever since my first job, given enough time at a workplace I've always become the guy who people go to when they're stuck, and I've enjoyed doing the same on various online communities. I've always found those interactions very rewarding, I find it much easier to apply myself in a focused way to helping other people solve their problems. I really believe in the "teach a man to fish" cliche. If you are a student or need help working on open source, I offer a 50% rate reduction. Note that I will not solve exercises/assignments for you, I am only willing to help you to solve them yourself. Finally, I suggest you check out this great write up by Adam Goldman, another mentor on this site, which has some great tips on how better utilize this service https://www.codementor.io/adamgold/get-the-most-out-of-your-session-5c5iho6ns
Software developer with 10+ years of experience.
Hi, I'm a software engineer that's originally from the Chicago, Illinois. I have been developing software 10+ years and loving it. Also, I have interests in robotics, artificial intelligence, foreign languages, traveling, and the movies.
I've worked as a software engineer in both large corporate and small startup environments. I have experience building server backend systems, front end web user interfaces and mobile applications.
Test-driven developer, data scientist and engineer
Developer by day, programmer by night. I obtained a master of science in civil engineering (computer science) and participated - together with several teams - in programming contests and hackathlons. I answer questions on StackOverflow on a daily basis and wrote courses on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Electronics. I worked as a researcher in the field of hyperheuristics (artificial intelligence), a teaching assistant in computer science and as a data scientist and technical lead developer in an AI startup. During my spare time I developed small (and larger) projects to help with daily routine. For me, a computer should aim to automate everything that is boring, such that one can pay more attention to what is interesting in life.
Web Software Engineer
I am making the world better by contributing to open source technologies for organizations and communities specializing in web applications. Ive contributed to projects that span the world and help people have a better relationship with technology on the web. Here are some of my projects: Django Activity Streams: Generates activity stream feeds for your websites so your users can know what other users are doing https://github.com/justquick/django-activity-stream Google Image Chart Wrapper for Python: https://code.google.com/p/google-chartwrapper/ Used by many sites around the world including Interlegis which helps the citizens of Brazil better understand their voting results. http://www.interlegis.leg.br/ PyGoogleVoice: Python wrapper for the Google voice “API”. Lets you connect to the google voice service programatically. https://code.google.com/p/pygooglevoice/ More works can be found on these pages: https://github.com/justquick/ https://code.google.com/u/justquick/
Experienced Software Engineer
I am a software engineer and a startup entrepreneur with a broad range of interests and expertise. I've been using a variety of technologies over the past 20 years, both for commercial and open source work. I've released a number of open source packages, such as PumpkinDB (pumpkindb.org), Eventsourcing for Java (eventsourcing.com), graphql-java-annotations, graphql-java-servlet, erlzmq2, and others. I've also contributed to many open source projects, most notably Elixir programming language.
Leveraging mentorship to build software teams sustainably. Ask me how.
I believe that the only way to grow sustainably is to invest in yourself, and others. Helping to grow high performing teams through mentorship is one of my favorite things. It's fulfilling to help individuals and teams realize their potential. If you run an organization and want to cultivate lasting value in your product team, let's connect.
If I pinged you, I can help you!
I work at Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Management (AIM India). My day to day work involve applied data science, statistics, cloud services, distributed systems, hybrid network scenarios and UI/UX. I have worked (atleast one project) on technologies which involve: Mobile development (Android, IOS), Web (frontend, backend with php, python, node.js, asp.net), Augmented Reality (Hololens), IOT (Arduino, BeagleBoard, Windows IOT Core), Windows app (UWP, WPF, WFA), Chrome/Mozilla Extensions, jQuery libraries, Apache Modules and php libraries (infosec).
Data Science Engineer at Rubikloud Technologies Inc.
Greetings!! This is Asif Iqbal. I am a software engineer based in Toronto, Canada. I am more than happy to help people with solving their coding problems, design issues, databases, interview preparation and providing with any other sort of programming tutorials. My strongest language is Java and SQL. However, recently I have also worked a bit with Python and in the past worked with other languages and tehnologies as well. In general, I am kind of technology agnostic and willing to pick up anything on demand. I have been absorbed in software development and design for the past few years, with an emphasis to back-end, data pipelines, server side development, databases, performance optimization and system analysis. Over the years, I have gained expertise in object oriented programming, design patterns, best practices, reverse engineering, code re-factoring, coding standards, security guidelines, performance tuning, writing high-performance and scalable code, query optimization, finding and fixing critical bugs in existing code-base, and of course, collaborating and working in harmony with other team members. Recently I have been growing interest in big data, data analytics and data management; and looking to pursue a career with an emphasis to these areas. My ideal goal would be to join a team in where I get to pursue a role that is somewhat in alignment with these stuffs, and get to develop in depth expertise in big data engineering by successfully contributing myself as well as collaborating with and gaining knowledge from my team-mates. I am always ready and open to switch to pursue and explore any new tools and technology stack that fits the needs. As for my academics, in 2011, I completed my master's in Software Engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Back in 2008, I gained my Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
